Ducie Street Dog Park Upgrade

Exciting news for canine owners in the Darra Community!

The much awaited upgrade for the Ducie Street dog off-leash area has now commenced.

Earlier in the year following several community requests, I was pleased to announce that I had secured funding to refurbish the park to provide an improved space that can be enjoyed by both dogs and owners alike.

Parks and dog enclosures provide great spaces for members of our community to come together and connect, much like the members of the dog-owning community in Darra do on a daily basis at Ducie Street Park.

I am sure many of you will therefore be thrilled to see the upgrade, with construction expected to be complete in July.

The upgrade includes the addition of a new small off-leash area, the addition of park shelters, as well as the installation of new agility equipment.
