Our Lord Mayor’s City Hall Concerts for your free lunchtime concert in the City Hall from February through to November every Tuesday from 12-1pm. Concerts are FREE!

Hopelessly Devoted to Olivia - Tue 21 July, 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Sharon Lee will take you on a dazzling journey celebrating the timeless music of Olivia Newton-John backed by The Fabulous Four, this high energy live production relives Olivia’s biggest hits including Banks Of The Ohio, Let Me Be There, You’re The One That I Want, Physical and Xanadu with stunning vocals, dazzling costumes, sweet harmonies and captivating stage presence.

From the iconic songs of Grease to her beloved classics, the show captures the true essence, charm and spirit of Olivia’s career. Audiences are taken on a nostalgia filled adventure with feel-good moments, sing-along favourites and unforgettable entertainment.

The Spirit of the Isles: Queensland Conservatorium Brass Band conducted by Howard Taylor - Tue 28 July, 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Under the accomplished baton of conductor Howard Taylor, the Queensland Conservatorium of Music’s brass band return for another blockbuster concert!

Always a highlight of the year, the band is accompanied by some very special guests, presenting a program full of Celtic fire and British majesty.

Dance & Romance - Tue 4 Aug, 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Enjoy the spectacular display of Dance and Organ combined to produce a magical performance delighting in choreography displaying beauty and romance.

Benjamin Sheen, Director of Music at Jesus College, Cambridge, is an established concert artist on both sides of the Atlantic. Hailed as a “brilliant organist” by the New York Times, he is the 2013 winner of the Pierre S. du Pont First Prize in the inaugural Longwood Gardens Organ Competition, and that same year received Second Prize and the Jon Laukvik prize at the St. Alban’s International Organ Competition.

Benjamin holds degrees from the University of Oxford and the Juilliard School, is a prize-winning Fellow of the Royal College of Organists, and the 2011 recipient of the Worshipful Company of Musicians’ Silver Medal. Before moving to Cambridge, he spent three years as Sub-Organist at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford and served as organ tutor at the University of Oxford.

As a concert organist, Benjamin has performed throughout Europe, the USA, Canada, Singapore, and South Africa. He has also made concerto appearances with the Auckland Philharmonic and Orchestra of St. Luke’s in New York City. Before returning to the UK in 2020, he spent eight years at the famed Saint Thomas Church, Fifth Avenue in New York City as Associate Organist and as Acting Director of Music after the death of John Scott in 2015. Benjamin has recently released his first solo album, ‘In London Town’, featuring music and transcriptions from Great Britain, recorded on the Dobson organ at Saint Thomas.

Miss Mandy Swings - Tue 11 Aug, 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Miss Mandy Swings takes you back to the golden days of Hollywood, and the legendary ladies of stage and screen. Miss Mandy and her band bring to life Judy Garland, Liza Minelli, Doris Day and Bette Midler to name a few. The jazzy standards of The Ratpack and Nat King Cole, backed by some of Brisbane’s finest musicians, Ashley Higgins-drums, Sam Hewerdine-piano, Nick Woodend-bass and Darren Mcpherson on saxophone.

Expect onstage costume changes, cheeky banter and a delightful show with Miss Mandy swinging and dancing up a storm. Memories flood back with timeless songs like Over The Rainbow, Mack The Knife, At Last, New York New York and many more.

The Serenading Sopranos - Tue 18 Aug, 12:00pm - 1:00pm

The Serenading Sopranos are a vibrant ensemble of talented women whose harmonies have captivated audiences across South East Queensland. Gracing the stage in recent major musical productions with RMT -including Jesus Christ Superstar and The Sound of Music, with QMT in Mary Poppins and My Fair Lady and in various cabarets and variety shows, they bring both experience and passion.

Beyond theatre, the Serenading Sopranos have delighted audiences at community carols, concerts at Brisbane City Hall, functions at Government House and as working solo performers at various events across Brisbane and the surrounding regions. Their diverse ever-expanding repertoire spans from jazz, opera, classical, musical theatre, right to pop and folk, showcasing their versatility and rich vocal blend. Whether on a grand stage or at a local event, the Serenading Sopranos deliver elegance, warmth and of course: unforgettable harmonies.

The Acoustic Guitar Spectacular - Tue 25 Aug, 12:00pm -1:00pm

The Acoustic Guitar Spectacular returns in 2026, bringing three outstanding Australian guitarists together for a concert of exceptional acoustic music. Hosted by internationally recognised guitarist Michael Fix, the concert highlights the skill, precision and creativity that have made this series a favourite with Queensland audiences.

Joining him are Jason McGregor and Craig Claxton, two highly respected musicians with distinct styles. McGregor is a national fingerstyle champion known for his versatile musicianship and soulful vocal work. His performances have taken him across Australia and internationally, earning industry awards and a strong following. Claxton brings over 50 years of experience, shaped by blues, rock and jazz influences. He has performed with a long list of celebrated Australian artists and remains a sought-after guitarist, educator and session player.

Together, Fix, McGregor and Claxton present a diverse program that spans multiple styles and influences. The 2026 Acoustic Guitar Spectacular offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience three accomplished players sharing the stage, each bringing their own voice and musical history to this much-loved annual event.

Liberace: The Man and the Music - Tue 1st Sept, 12:00pm-1:00pm

Step into the dazzling world of Liberace with Adam Przewlocki’s captivating one-man show, Liberace: The Man and the Music.

Blending storytelling and virtuosic piano performance, Adam recounts milestone moments from the life of the legendary entertainer while performing many of Liberace’s most iconic showpieces. Audiences will thrill to excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1, Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody, Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, Bumble Boogie, Exodus and the beloved Indian Love Call.

Brisbane City Council proudly presents a special series of Lord Mayor’s City Hall Concerts for Brisbane Festival - David Bailey Silent Movies.

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Buster Keaton's classic railroad comedy The General, organist David Bailey performs his original score live to accompany the film. The famous heritage-listed Willis pipe organ at Brisbane City Hall is undoubtedly Brisbane's most historic and recognised musical instrument. Share the humour and history of this classic film and the power and beauty of the organ.

Brisbane City Council proudly presents a special series of Lord Mayor’s City Hall Concerts for Brisbane Festival - East of West.

ARIA-nominated trio East of West draws from the rich cultural melting pot of the Balkans and Mediterranean, spiced with contemporary European jazz. Bosnian-born composer Goran Gajić, Philip Griffin, and Malindi Morris explore the borderlands between genres through intricate composition and improvisation.

Going For Gold with Christopher Wrench and Blake Humphreys - Tue 20th Oct, 12:00pm-1:00pm

City Hall will be set ablaze when the golden tones of Blake Humphrey’s trumpet with the majestic Father Henry Willis organ under the hands of master organist Christopher Wrench. The concert will feature music by Purcell, Haydn, Widor and more.

Queensland Police Pipes and Drums & Band of Blue - Tue 27th Oct, 12:00pm-1:00pm

The Queensland Police Pipes & Drums (QPP&D) was originally formed in 1958 by a keen and committed group of police officers wishing to both represent the QPS and compete in pipe band competitions.

Today, the QPP&D’s professional musicians perform at official engagements such as Police, Queensland Fire Department and Corrective Services graduations, Government House events, Anzac Day and National Police Remembrance Day, as well as schools, retirement villages and community events enhancing formal proceedings and providing crime prevention information where appropriate.

They'll be joined on stage by the Queensland Police Band of Blue. Band of Blue has a rich history of service and entertainment and play a vital role in community engagement. Their performances span a wide range of genres, from classic rock and pop hits to jazz and swing. They foster positive relationships between police and the public through the universal language of music at a wide range of high-profile events such as Dance for Daniel and Steve Irwin Gala Dinner as well as a number of Police events.

Cinema & Standards: A Multi-Instrumental Tapestry - Tue 3rd Nov, 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Experience an unforgettable hour of music where the magic of the silver screen meets the timeless charm of the jazz age. Brisbane-based multi-instrumentalist Haitch brings his unique artistry to the beautiful Brisbane City Hall with a band of local musicians for a captivating, genre-blending concert.

Journey through iconic movie scores from The Mission, Braveheart, and Kill Bill, masterfully performed on a diverse array of exotic flutes. The cinematic soundscapes then give way to beloved American Songbook and light jazz classics like Summertime and Fly Me To The Moon, brought to life with heartfelt vocals and sizzling trumpet melodies.
