Platypus Signage Along Bullockhead Creek

Have you spotted the new platypus signage popping up around Bullockhead Creek? 

As part of our ongoing Platypus Program, five new awareness signs have been installed to highlight the presence of these unique and much-loved native animals and to encourage the community to help protect their habitat. 

These signs aim to raise awareness about platypus conservation, promote respectful behaviour around waterways, and celebrate the ecological importance of Bullockhead Creek as a habitat for local wildlife. 

Next time you’re out walking or cycling along the creek, take a moment to look out for the signage and you might even be lucky enough to spot a platypus in the wild!
