Join us for World Environment Day this year down at Pooh Corner Environment Centre on Sunday 4th June. In collaboration with Centenary and District Environment Action (CDEA) and Wolston and Centenary Creek Catchments (WaCC), we have planned a fun morning of activities.
This year we are also running a photo competition to celebrate and commemorate our many local creatures. I would like to invite you to enter your best photograph of local wildlife taken in the suburbs of Jamboree Heights, Jindalee, Middle Park, Mt Ommaney, Riverhills, Sinnamon Park, Seventeen Mile Rocks, Darra, Wacol, Sumner, Westlake, Oxley and Ellen Grove. Please email your entry along with your name, age and contact details to my office at jamboree.ward@bcc.qld.gov.au by Wednesday 31st May.
