We’re committed to keeping costs down for Brisbane residents, and our $2 Summer Dips initiative is a fantastic way for families to beat the summer heat without breaking the bank. The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast a super-hot summer and our Council pools will be the perfect place to beat the heat on a budget.
From December 1 to February 29, an adult entry fee will be reduced to $2 from up to $6.40. For an adult who swims once a week during summer, the saving would be up to $57.20. Whether you’re a regular lap swimmer or a family that loves taking the kids for a dip on those hot summer days, slashing pool prices will help residents have fun, stay active and save.
The $2 entry fee, available to both adults and children, is unlimited, meaning residents can visit our pools as often as they like. Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner and I are thrilled to see this initiative become a reality. It’s all about bringing our community together, offering affordable recreational opportunities, and maximising the use of our local amenities.
Come and kick off the summer with a refreshing splash. We can’t wait to welcome you to Jindalee Pool or Carole Park Community Pool.
