Tails will be wagging with upgrades at Riverhills

In pawsome news for dogs and their owners, Tigris Street Park dog off-leash area in Riverhills is NOW OPEN!

In late 2022, we consulted with residents to understand their preferences for the upgrade of their local off-leash area. It was clear this park was loved by many locals and the addition of natural agility equipment was a popular request.

Residents and their four-legged friends can now enjoy the new additions that have been made, including a new shelter and seating, along with the freshly laid turf, concrete paving and the installation of a range of natural agility equipment, including rocks, logs, and the first tunnel mound in Brisbane. These improvements will create a fun and challenging environment for dogs to play and exercise in, while also providing a comfortable and enjoyable space for their owners.

I am committed to continuously improving and upgrading our parks to meet the needs of residents and their furry companions. The upgrade of the Englefield Road Park dog off-leash area, Oxley, which will commence in July is sure to be another great addition to the area.
