In a truly despicable act, our Centenary Memorial was vandalised on the evening of Vietnam Veteran’s Day. We became aware of two instances of this tag – “4KG” at Centenary Memorial Gardens and King George Square. Thankfully our Council team were swift to ensure it got removed as quickly as possible.
Any Graffiti is an eyesore but the fact this vandal targeted memorials was disgusting. These tags have been reported to our Taskforce Against Graffiti and they will work with police to catch and prosecute whoever did this. If you have any information leading to the apprehension of those responsible, I will personally offer a $200 reward. Please notify my office.
