The State Government is investing in the Centenary Motorway Bridge duplication in Jindalee; however, a critical oversight exists regarding off-ramp and on-ramp upgrades. Peak-hour frustration arises, particularly at the Seventeen Mile Rocks Road and Goggs Road off-ramp intersection.
Collaborating with our infrastructure team, I’ve worked to identify enhancements for this intersection, aiming to alleviate congestion, minimize rat-running into Windermere, and enhance traffic flows. The preliminary design proposes replacing the roundabout with traffic lights, duplicating lanes, and constructing an additional bridge over the motorway, to segregate suburban traffic from that of the highway.
Given that 75% of the project falls under the Queensland State Government’s jurisdiction, I seek your support to prioritise and fund this crucial proposal.
