We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our Food Waste Recycling Service to Westlake. This expansion will provide households in selected streets an exciting opportunity to participate in this trial, enabling them to dispose of household food waste, including fruit and vegetable scraps, in their green waste recycling bin. Commencing in early February, residents will receive detailed information about participating in the trial.
Our dedicated team will monitor all aspects of the service, including collection, material processing, contamination, and behaviour change strategies, aiming for success and sustainability across Brisbane.
