Brisbane City Council is committed to helping businesses, schools, and community groups in waste reduction, improved recycling, and cost savings through its ASPIRE partnership.
Developed by CSIRO and Data 61, ASPIRE is a user-friendly online marketplace for trading or selling materials that would otherwise end up in landfill. It matches waste resources from businesses with potential manufacturers, purchasers, or recyclers and covers a wide range of items, such as e-waste, furniture, pallets, metals, paper and cardboard, plastics, textiles, and timber.
Brisbane businesses with up to 100 employees can access ASPIRE for free, thanks to a special license from the Brisbane City Council. Larger businesses can also join at a discounted rate. Schools, community groups, and social enterprises with an ABN can benefit too.
Embrace a cleaner, more sustainable Brisbane. Register with ASPIRE today and lead the way in eco-friendly business practices.
